Happy Birthday, Jewel!
Jewel Kilcher, singer of hits such as “Foolish Games” and “You Were Meant for Me,” turns 34 today!
Thirteen years after her debut album, Pieces of You, hit shelves in February 1995, singer/songwriter/poet Jewel has gone country!
That’s right– her first country album, Perfectly Clear, is set for release on June 3, 2008. You may have heard her first country single, “Stronger Woman,” which was released to radio in January, and hit the Top 20 in Billboard Hot Country Songs.
She is scheduled to tour with Brad Paisley, Chuck Wicks, and Julianne Hough (of “Dancing with the Stars” fame) on Brad Paisley’s 2008 tour.
