Rupert Grint: Harry Potter’s best friend turns 19!
The cast of the “Harry Potter” films has grown up before our very eyes, and Rupert Grint is not exception. Grint is known for his role as Ron Weasley, Harry’s best bloke.
Rupert was purportedly a fan of the book series, and had only acted in one school play before he landed the role of a lifetime: Ron Weasley!
How is he like his “Harry Potter” counterpart? He could certainly make use of an invisibility cloak, so he could sneak out of detention at school. He also “forgot” to write an essay describing his character, requested by the film’s director. When asked why he forgot, he reportedly said “that’s what Ron would have done.”
Yes, that’s exactly what Ron would have done. I don’t know about you, but I think Rupert embodies the spirit that is Ron Weasley. But I do hope to see him continue acting after all the “Harry Potter” films are finished.
